{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-227.230","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 227.230","heading":"State fire marshal -- Deputies -- Assistants -- Employees.","body":"The commissioner shall appoint a state fire marshal, who shall appoint such deputy fire\nmarshals, assistants, and employees as are necessary to exercise, discharge, or perform\nany power, duty or function vested in, imposed upon, or delegated to the state f ire\nmarshal by law or regulation. The state fire marshal, under the general direction of the\ncommissioner, shall enforce and administer the provisions of this chapter and any other\nduties assigned by law or regulation. The chief of each fire department and  the sheriff of\neach county shall be deemed deputies when ordered by the state fire marshal to act as\nsuch for their respective jurisdictions.
