{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-227.650","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 227.650","heading":"Inspection powers  -- Training programs  for local government","body":"personnel.\n(1) The  department is empowered  to inspect all mobile homes  which are not\ncovered by the federal act and previously owned  recreational vehicles for\nwhich it has issued a seal of approval.\n(2) The  department may establish and require training programs in the concept,\ntechniques, and  inspection of manufactured homes,  mobile homes,  and\npreviously owned recreational vehicles for the personnel of local governments,\nas the department considers necessary.\n(3) The  staff of the department, upon showing proper credentials and in the\ndischarge of their duties pursuant to KRS  227.550 to 227.660 or the federal\nact, shall be permitted with the consent of the manufacturer or by proper\nwarrant to enter and inspect all factories, warehouses, or establishments in this\nstate in which manufactured homes are manufactured or stored.","path":["KRS Chapter 227"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=46977","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:44Z","sha256":"a87abe7aa05b22243bee3c74038b97a13b4a798d9d9de778e3cd5327061e30d8","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-227.640","next":"us-ky/krs-227.660"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
