This term includes, but is not limited to, firecrackers\ncontaining more than two (2) grains (130 mg) of explosive composition, aerial shells\ncontaining more than forty (40) grams of pyrotechnic composition, and other display\npieces which exceed the limits for classification as \"consumer fireworks.\" Display\nfireworks are defined by the Consumer Product Safety Commission in CPSC, 16 C.F.R.\npts. 1500 and 1507, and are classified as Class B explosives by the United States\nDepartment of Transportation.","path":["KRS Chapter 227"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=39505","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:44Z","sha256":"f5c68e76912b39f54059ef01623e6af155819d5b23d2015410a4d5454894e91e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-227.704","next":"us-ky/krs-227.708"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
