{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-230.838","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 230.838","heading":"Independent compliance audit -- Requirements.","body":"(1) As part of its submission for licensure or renewal, a fantasy contest service provider\napplicant shall:\n(a) Contract with a certified public accountant to conduct an independent audit,\nconsistent with generally accepted accounting principles;\n(b) Annually contract with a testing laboratory, certified public accountant, or\nanother professional service provider recognized by the corporation to verify\ncompliance with KRS 230.830 to 230.848; and\n(c) Submit to the corporation a copy of the audit report and of th e compliance\nreport of the testing laboratory, certified public accountant, or professional\nservice provider.\n(2) An initial fantasy contest service provider is not required to submit an audit report\nand report of the testing laboratory until twenty -four ( 24) months following the\nissuance of a license.","path":["KRS Chapter 230"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=58095","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:47Z","sha256":"23aa993f3e3842796d573d90c08bbe636db807d446e939bd973a193ab6142386","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-230.836","next":"us-ky/krs-230.840"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
