{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-230.840","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 230.840","heading":"Investigations -- Complaints -- Confidentiality.","body":"(1) The corporation shall investigate all reasonable allegations of prohibited conduct\nand refer any allegations it deems credible to the appropriate law enforcement\nagency.\n(2) The identity of any reporting person shall remain confidential unless that person\nauthorizes disclosure of the person's identity or until the allegation of prohibited\nconduct is referred to law enforcement.\n(3) If the corporation receives a complaint of prohibited conduct by an athlete or\nreferee or other officiant, the corporation shal l notify the appropriate sports\ngoverning body of the athlete or referee or other officiant to review the complaint as\nprovided by the corporation.\n(4) The corporation shall promulgate administrative regulations in accordance with\nKRS Chapter 13A to govern  investigations of prohibited conduct and referrals to\nlaw enforcement agencies.","path":["KRS Chapter 230"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=58096","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:47Z","sha256":"dec4931d73cbb4691657cec2d782f2e28bd3f0abbbc1a99d60a080a9bac09ad0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-230.838","next":"us-ky/krs-230.842"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
