{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-236.220","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 236.220","heading":"Procedure for suspension or revocation of license.","body":"(1) A license issued under KRS 236.210 to 236.260 may be suspended or revoked\nfor falsification of any information contained in the application. Written notice of\na suspension shall be given to the licensee by the chief boiler inspector within\nten (10) days of the first notification of the violation. A person whose license\nhas been suspended may appeal to the department, and a hearing shall be\nconducted in accordance with KRS Chapter 13B.\n(2) If the department has reason to believe that a licensee is no longer qualified to\nhold a license, the department shall hold a hearing to be conducted in\naccordance  with KRS  Chapter 13B. If, as a result of the hearing, the\ndepartment finds that the licensee is no longer qualified to hold a license, the\ndepartment shall state in a final order that the license is revoked or suspended.\n(3) A person whose license has been suspended may apply for reinstatement of\nthe license after ninety (90) days from the date of the suspension.","path":["KRS Chapter 236"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=46991","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:50Z","sha256":"4a062017e89750161ba7b0c6ee3e3df098276fc8f2b85aff56abad2c8b5c760c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-236.210","next":"us-ky/krs-236.230"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
