{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-236.240","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 236.240","heading":"Permit required for installation, erection, or repair -- Fees.","body":"(1) A  person shall not install, erect, or make  repairs affecting the strength of a\nboiler or pressure vessel without first securing a permit from the department.\nPermits shall be issued only to a person licensed under KRS  236.210 to\n236.260.\n(2) No  work shall be performed except by or under the supervision of a licensed\nperson. The permit fees shall be set by the department.\n(3) The  permit fees shall include one (1) interim inspection and one (1) final\ninspection for issuance of a boiler or pressure vessel certificate of inspection.\n(4) Special inspections and more  than two (2) inspections requested by the\nlicensee for each permit shall be charged fees in accordance with KRS\n236.130.","path":["KRS Chapter 236"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=46992","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:50Z","sha256":"3c2fc30a90185dd54c73708bd330ca44c869176a6b22364f6126022b84fad10b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-236.230","next":"us-ky/krs-236.250"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
