{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-23a.070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 23A.070","heading":"Thirtieth Judicial Circuit -- Family court -- Funds from previously created","body":"campaign accounts.\n(1) The Thirtieth Judicial Circuit is entitled to twenty -three (23) judges and shall have\ntwenty-three (23) numbered divisions of the Circuit Court. The Cir cuit Court\ndivisions designated for family court shall be consecutively numbered beginning\nwith the Thirtieth Judicial Circuit, First Division, Family Court. All other Circuit\nCourt divisions shall be consecutively numbered beginning with the Thirtieth\nJudicial Circuit, First Division, and shall appear on the ballot prior to the designated\nfamily court divisions. These designations shall apply for election purposes and all\nother purposes.\n(2) Notwithstanding any provision of KRS 121.180(10) to the contrary,  a judicial\ncandidate whose division number is altered pursuant to subsection (1) of this\nsection subsequent to the establishment of a campaign account with the Kentucky\nRegistry of Election Finance may expend the funds contained in the established\naccount for election to the judicial division to which they were elected or appointed.","path":["KRS Chapter 23A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=20623","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:43Z","sha256":"e12639c719d0392add239c0d2d4b29c9b7394207dbd183a70001ae65bc931646","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-23a.060","next":"us-ky/krs-23a.080"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
