{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-242.123","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 242.123","heading":"Local option election for limited sale of alcoholic beverages  in","body":"precinct containing golf course -- Petition language.\n(1) (a) To  promote economic development and tourism in any dry or moist\ncounty or city, a local option election for the limited sale of alcoholic\nbeverages  may  be held in any precinct containing a nine (9) or an\neighteen (18) hole golf course that meets United States Golf Association\ncriteria as a regulation golf course.\n(b) A  petition seeking a local option election under this section shall state\n\"We  the undersigned registered voters hereby petition for an election\nunder KRS 242.123 on the following question: 'Are you in favor of the sale\nof alcoholic beverages by the drink at a golf course or courses in the\n(name of precinct)?'\".\n(2) A local option election for the limited sale of alcoholic beverages authorized by\nsubsection (1) of this section shall be held in accordance with KRS  242.020 to\n242.040, and 242.060 to 242.120.
