{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-242.1241","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 242.1241","heading":"Limited sale precinct election for sale of alcoholic beverages on Sunday at","body":"licensed small farm winery in wet territory.\n(1) (a) If the sale of alcoholic beverages is permitted at a licensed small farm winery\nlocated in a wet or moist territ ory, a limited sale precinct election may be held\nto authorize the sale of alcoholic beverages on Sunday at the small farm\nwinery.\n(b) A local option election authorized under this subsection shall be held in\naccordance with KRS 242.020 to 242.040, and 242.060 to 242.120.\n(c) The petition seeking a limited sale precinct election under this section shall\nstate, \"We the undersigned registered voters hereby petition for an election on\nthe following question: 'Are you in favor of the sale of alcoholic beverages  on\nSunday at a small farm winery located in (name of precinct)?'\"\n(d) If the precinct contains a licensed small farm winery, the proposition to be\nvoted on in the limited sale precinct election shall state, \"Are you in favor of\nthe sale of alcoholic bever ages on Sunday at a licensed small farm winery or\nwineries located in (name of precinct)?\"\n(2) A limited sale precinct election to authorize Sunday sales at a small farm winery\nmay be held less than three (3) years after a local option election held in acc ordance\nwith KRS 242.124 to authorize the sale of alcoholic beverages at that small farm\nwinery.","path":["KRS Chapter 242"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=50395","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:52Z","sha256":"b76dd37e587e9fae971d9ed4ada01dc4ed7db36675e640b8217acdb5ab39f9c6","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-242.124","next":"us-ky/krs-242.1242"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
