{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-242.1242","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 242.1242","heading":"Local option election for limited sale of alcoholic beverages at","body":"qualified historic sites -- Petition language.\n(1) (a) To  promote economic development and tourism in any dry or moist\ncounty, urban-county government, charter county, consolidated local\ngovernment, unified local government, or city, in which a qualified historic\nsite is located, a local option election for the limited sales of alcoholic\nbeverages  by the drink may  be held in the precinct of the county,\nurban-county government, charter county, consolidated local government,\nor unified local government where the qualified historic site is located,\nnotwithstanding any other provision of the Kentucky Revised Statutes.\n(b) A  petition seeking a local option election under this section shall state\n\"We  the undersigned registered voters hereby petition for an election\nunder this section on the following question: 'Are you in favor of the sale\nof alcoholic beverages by the drink at qualified historic sites in (name of\nprecinct)?'\".\n(2) A local option election for the limited sale of alcoholic beverages by the drink\nheld under subsection (1) of this section shall be conducted in the same\nmanner  as specified in KRS  242.020 to 242.040; and 242.060 to 242.120.
