{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-243.042","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 243.042","heading":"Qualified historic site license.","body":"(1) A qualified historic site license may be issued to any establishment meeting the\ncriteria established in KRS 241.010 as long as the establishment is within:\n(a) Any wet territory; or\n(b) Any  precinct that has authorized the sale of alcoholic beverages under\nKRS  242.1242.\n(2) A qualified historic site license shall authorize the licensee to:\n(a) Sell alcoholic beverages by the drink at one (1) or more permanent or\nnonpermanent  locations on the premises over which the licensee, by\nlease or ownership, has exclusive control without obtaining additional\nsupplemental bar licenses prescribed by KRS 243.037;\n(b) Sell alcoholic beverages by the drink to patrons at public or private\nfunctions held on the premises; and\n(c) Purchase and store alcoholic beverages in the manner prescribed in KRS\n243.088, 243.250, and 244.260.","path":["KRS Chapter 243"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=45937","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:53Z","sha256":"09819b71f89e422b7f475b2e788fbf347dd6197bd59cae2b23787e6f663ef353","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-243.040","next":"us-ky/krs-243.045"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
