{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-243.600","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 243.600","heading":"Issuance of county licenses.","body":"(1) The clerk of a county whose fiscal court has imposed license fees under KRS\n243.060 shall immediately notify the board of the amount of the fees fixed. The\ncounty licenses shall be issued and the fees collected by the county clerk, who may\ncharge a fee of fifty cents ($0.50) for his services for each license issued. The\ncounty clerk shall report and pay to the county treasurer at the end of each month\nsuch fees as he has collected. No license shall be issued without the approval of the\ncounty administrator, if there is one in the county. The licenses shall be issued in\nsuch form as may be prescribed by the county administrator, if there is one in the\ncounty, or by the board, if there is no county administrator.\n(2) If any part of this section is held invalid , all of this section and of KRS 243.060\nshall also be considered invalid.","path":["KRS Chapter 243"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=11385","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:54Z","sha256":"6e350c3d8ab137505cc3aa9249c9fbf44a634ebb64035e7a7d540dd9e4516b15","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-243.595","next":"us-ky/krs-243.610"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
