{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-246.655","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 246.655","heading":"Kentucky ginseng fund.","body":"(1) There is hereby established in the State Treasury a separate trust and agency account\nto be known as the Kentucky ginseng fund to be administered by the Department of\nAgriculture.\n(2) Moneys in this fund shall be used to help administer the ginseng program  as\nprovided by KRS 246.660.\n(3) Notwithstanding KRS 45.229, any moneys remaining in the fund at the close of the\nfiscal year, including interest, shall not lapse but shall be carried forward into the\nsucceeding fiscal year to be used for the purposes set forth in this section.\n(4) The fund may receive gifts, grants, federal funds, and any other funds both public\nand private.","path":["KRS Chapter 246"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=39629","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:56Z","sha256":"8c8b8dca6e846fd821eef9cceb9b386a4fc87724e01c9da3bec5b44e20211be5","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-246.650","next":"us-ky/krs-246.660"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
