{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.015","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.015","heading":"Department authorized to provide space on state property for sale of","body":"Kentucky agricultural commodities -- Administrative regulations --\nApplicability.\n(1) It is hereby declared to be in the public interest and for the public health and welfare\nthat the State Department of Agriculture shall have the authority to provide space on\nall state property, in cooperation with the appropriate state agency under whose\njurisdiction the said real property falls, for those nonprofit agricultural commodity\norganizations designated in section 501(c)(5) of the Federal Internal Revenue Code\nto sell, give away, advertise, or promote Kentucky agricultural commodities.\n(2) The department shall, in cooperation with other state agencies, develop\nadministrative regulations to carry out the provisions of subsection (1) of this\nsection, which may include a reasonable fee to be paid by the agricultural\norganization.\n(3) This section shall not apply to existing contracts prior to July 15, 1986, but shall\napply to contract renewals and to new contracts after July 15, 1986.","path":["KRS Chapter 247"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=11573","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:56Z","sha256":"bb532c57c605fbd063b437ca1f5977bb4d19e31e43be073b4b7872041599bdb3","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-247.010","next":"us-ky/krs-247.018"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
