{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.2351","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.2351","heading":"Operation and maintenance of amusement rides and attractions --","body":"Required submission of service manuals and records -- Administrative\nregulations.\n(1) All amusement rides and attractions shall be operated and maintained according to\nthe most stringent specifications and recommendations of:\n(a) The manufacturer's specifications and recommendations;\n(b) The most recent National Electrical Code and National Fire Protection\nAssociation codes and standards; or\n(c) Any other applicable state or federal laws.\n(2) The department shall promulgate administrative regulations relating to the use of\nreplacement parts for amusement rides and attractions.\n(3) Amusement ride and attraction owners shall provide the department with the most\nrecent manuals, service bulletins, or service and inspection records upon request by\na department inspector. If any of these items are not immediately available to an\ninspector, the inspector may issue a stop operation order or postpone the application\nprocess until the materials are m ade available. Any department inspector may issue\na stop operation order if the inspector finds that the provisions of the manuals or\nservice bulletins are not being followed.\n(4) The department may promulgate administrative regulations relating to amuseme nt\nrides and attractions in accordance with the latest ASTM standards.","path":["KRS Chapter 247"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=11613","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:57Z","sha256":"135347ca142c71462b14c536fdf0c61583ec1763e61986126836412f55814c41","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-247.235","next":"us-ky/krs-247.2353"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
