{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.330","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.330","heading":"State federation of farm bureaus.","body":"(1) A state federation of county farm bureaus may be formed by a majority of the\ncounty farm bureaus in existence at the time of the formation of said federation,\nwhich have been organized pursuant to KRS 247.240 and 247.250, but said\nmajority shall consist of no less than ten (10) such county farm bureaus.\n(2) The state federation of farm bureaus shall have for its purpose the advancement and\nimprovement of agricultural and allied interests of the farms of this state and may\ncooperate with the department, the College of Agriculture of the University of\nKentucky, and the United States Department of Agriculture.\n(3) The provisions of subsection (1) of this section shall not affect any existing state\nfederation formed pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 76 of th e Acts of 1920 of\nthe General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.","path":["KRS Chapter 247"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=11625","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:57Z","sha256":"d63935384ebbfa679bb2792cf32a4c867674809e32153bf1baa7d1577b72d86b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-247.320","next":"us-ky/krs-247.340"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
