{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.4461","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.4461","heading":"Certification by Commissioner of Agriculture of agency to conduct","body":"referendum.\nUpon the filing with the State Board of Agriculture of the application on the part of any\ncommission, council, board, association, or other agency of producers, the Commiss ioner\nshall within thirty (30) days thereafter convene the State Board of Agriculture to consider\nthe application; and if upon the consideration the Board of Agriculture shall find that the\ncommission, council, board, or other agency making the application  is fairly\nrepresentative of and has been duly chosen and delegated as representative of the\nproducers producing the commodity, and shall otherwise find and determine that the\napplication is in conformity with the provisions of KRS 247.4451 to 247.4483 and  the\npurposes stated, then it shall be the duty of the Commissioner of Agriculture to certify the\ncommission, council, board, association, or other agency as the duly delegated and\nauthorized group or agency representative of the producers of the agricultural commodity,\nand shall likewise certify that the agency is duly authorized to conduct among the\nproducers of the commodity a referendum for the purpose stated.","path":["KRS Chapter 247"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=11659","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:57Z","sha256":"62ee7937e431442a834c15fe6b691d9ac235bb491c608f91eae179cd72f28ea2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-247.4459","next":"us-ky/krs-247.4463"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
