{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.4471","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.4471","heading":"Voting areas and other voting details set by Commissioner.","body":"The hours, voting places, rules and regulations, and the area within which the referendum\nauthorized with respect to the agricultural commodity referred to shall be established and\ndetermined by the Commissioner of Agriculture. The referendum date, area, hours, voting\nplaces, and rules and regulations with respect to the holding of the referendum shall be\npublished by the Commissioner through the medium of the public press in the\nCommonwealth of Kentucky at least thirty (30) days before the holding of the\nreferendum, and direct written notice shall likewise be given to each county or area agent\nin any county in which the agricultural product is produced. The notice shall contain a\nstatement of the amount of the assessment proposed to be levied, which assessm ent in\nany event shall not exceed fifteen hundredths of one percent (0.15%) of the value of the\nyear's production of the agricultural commodity grown by the producer included in the\ngroup to which the referendum is submitted, and shall likewise state the method by which\nthe assessment shall be collected and how the proceeds thereof shall be administered and\nthe purposes to which the proceeds shall be applied, which purposes shall be in keeping\nwith the provisions of KRS 247.4451 to 247.4483.","path":["KRS Chapter 247"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=11664","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:57Z","sha256":"f5dabf8dcc5b45efb50a375ef61dbec7d40bfbbd1cdd79bf9259dad56c0ec4ab","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-247.4469","next":"us-ky/krs-247.4473"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
