{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.467","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.467","heading":"State Board of Agriculture on approval of application to certify association","body":"to hold referendum.\nUpon the filing with the State Board of Agriculture of such application on the part of any\ncommission, council, board, association, or other agency of pro ducers, the Commissioner\nshall within thirty (30) days thereafter convene the State Board of Agriculture to consider\nsuch application; and if upon such consideration the said board of agriculture shall find\nthat the commission, council, board or other agen cy making such application is fairly\nrepresentative of and has been duly chosen and delegated as representative of the\nproducers producing such commodity, and shall otherwise find and determine that such\napplication is in conformity with the provisions of KRS 247.450 to 247.505 and the\npurposes therein stated, then and in such an event it shall be the duty of the\nCommissioner of Agriculture to certify such commission, council, board, association or\nother agency as the duly delegated and authorized group or agency representative of the\nproducers of such agricultural commodity, and shall likewise certify that such agency is\nduly authorized to conduct among the producers of such commodity a referendum for the\npurpose herein stated.","path":["KRS Chapter 247"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=11676","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:57Z","sha256":"acb2a2d8398964d3803aee66057192641fbec9bc4ca137f79c721420290bf2ea","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-247.463","next":"us-ky/krs-247.470"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
