{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.5069","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.5069","heading":"Application for assessment referendum -- Contents of form -- Publication.","body":"(1) Any existing association which is fairly representative of the small grains producers\nof Kentucky, such as the Kentucky Small Grain Growers Association, may at any\ntime after July 13, 1990, make application to the State Board of Agriculture on\nforms pr escribed by the board for certification and approval for the purpose of\nconducting a referendum among the producers of small grains upon the question of\nlevying an assessment under the provisions of KRS 247.5061 to 247.5095 and\ncollecting and utilizing the assessment for the purpose stated in the referendum. The\napplication forms shall include, but not be limited to, the following:\n(a) Applicant's name;\n(b) Applicant's address;\n(c) Date;\n(d) Program to be undertaken for producers;\n(e) Brief statement of how the program is to be implemented;\n(f) Referendum to be conducted on a statewide basis;\n(g) Proposed effective date of the program; and\n(h) Signature of the applicant.\n(2) Upon receipt of the application, the Commissioner shall publish the application\nthrough the medium of the public press in the state within ten (10) days of receipt.","path":["KRS Chapter 247"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=11692","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:58Z","sha256":"841b636c145780d8f86b9538ef175f85b480772052dad0e0908e74038ac19ff6","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-247.5067","next":"us-ky/krs-247.5071"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
