{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.6009","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.6009","heading":"Application to conduct corn referendum.","body":"(1) Any existing association which is fairly representative of the corn producers of\nKentucky, such as the Kentucky Corn Growers Association, may at any time after\nJuly 13, 1990, make application to the State Board of Agriculture on forms\nprescribed by the board for certification and approval for the purpose of conducting\na referendum among the producers of corn upon the question of levying an\nassessment under the provisions of KRS 247.6001 to 247.6035 and collecting and\nutilizing the assessment for the purpose  stated in the referendum. The application\nforms shall include, but not be limited to, the following:\n(a) Applicant's name;\n(b) Applicant's address;\n(c) Date;\n(d) Program to be undertaken for producers;\n(e) Brief statement of how the program is to be implemented;\n(f) Referendum to be conducted on a statewide basis;\n(g) Proposed effective date of the program; and\n(h) Signature of the applicant.\n(2) Upon receipt of the application, the Commissioner shall publish the application\nthrough the medium of the public press in the state within ten (10) days of receipt.","path":["KRS Chapter 247"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=11733","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:58Z","sha256":"e89216a2603a5614a17b7308a32d17f3ef6ec28f3d6983436038b625877ac029","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-247.6007","next":"us-ky/krs-247.6011"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
