{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.6070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.6070","heading":"Affirmative vote -- Failure of referendum -- Subsequent referendums on","body":"continuation of assessments.\n(1) If two-thirds (2/3) of the eligible growers who vote in the referendum vote in favor\nof levying and collecting the assessment proposed in the refe rendum, then the\nassessment shall be collected in the manner determined and announced by the\nCommissioner.\n(2) If the referendum fails to receive the required number of affirmative votes, the\nassociation may, with the consent of the Commissioner, call other referendums.\n(3) After the passage of any referendum, upon the petition of the majority of eligible\nvoters, eligible voters may, by subsequent referendums, vote on whether to continue\ntheir assessments.
