{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.615","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.615","heading":"Definitions for KRS 247.620 to 247.685.","body":"As used in KRS 247.620 to 247.685, unless the context otherwise requires:\n(1) \"Association\" means any commission, council, board, or other body;\n(2) \"Commissioner\" means the Commissioner of Agriculture;\n(3) \"Board\" means the State Board of Agriculture;\n(4) \"Producer\" means every person who produces bovine animals and thereafter causes\nthe same to be marketed;\n(5) \"New producer\" means a producer who was not engaged in the business of\nproducing bovine animals at the time a referendum was conducted in accordan ce\nwith the provisions of KRS 247.620 to 247.685;\n(6) \"Person\" means any individual, corporation, partnership, association, cooperative,\nor other business entity; and\n(7) \"Order buyer\" means any person who purchases bovine animals in Kentucky and is\nregistered under the United States Department of Agriculture, Packers and\nStockyards Act of 1921, as amended, and the regulations thereunder.
