{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.630","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.630","heading":"Application for assessment referendum -- Contents of form -- Publication.","body":"(1) Any existing association which is fairly representative of the bovine animal\nproducers of Kentucky, such as the Kentucky Beef Cattle Association, may at any\ntime after the enactment of KRS 247.610 to 247.685 make application to the State\nBoard of Agric ulture on forms prescribed by such board for certification and\napproval for the purpose of conducting a referendum among the producers of\nbovine animals upon the question of levying an assessment under the provisions of\nKRS 247.610 to 247.685, collecting a nd utilizing the same for the purpose stated in\nsuch referendum.  Such application forms shall include, but not be limited to, the\nfollowing:\n(a) Applicant's name;\n(b) Applicant's address;\n(c) Date;\n(d) Program to be undertaken for producers;\n(e) Brief statement of how the program is to be implemented;\n(f) Referendum to be conducted on a statewide or area basis;\n(g) Proposed effective date of the program;\n(h) Geographic area, by counties, of producers to be affected by the program; and\n(i) Signature of the applicant.\n(2) Upon receipt of such application, the Commissioner shall publish such application\nthrough the medium of the public press in the state within ten (10) days of receipt\nthereof.","path":["KRS Chapter 247"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=11767","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:59Z","sha256":"7d321eff6125934674c0785c468dfdcbd715e46d7bc8716667ec6e9a6b293eae","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-247.625","next":"us-ky/krs-247.635"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
