{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.7904","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.7904","heading":"Application for assessment referendum -- Contents of form -- Publication.","body":"(1) Any existing association which is fairly representative of the porcine animal\nproducers of Kentucky may at any time after the enactment of KRS 247.7900 to\n247.7928 make application to the State Board of Agriculture on forms prescribed by\nthe board for certification and approval for the purpose of conducting a referendum\namong the producers of porcine animals upon the question of levying an assessment\nunder the provisions of KRS 247.7900 to 247.7928, and for collecting and utilizing\nthe assessment for the purpose stated in the referendum. The application forms shall\ninclude, but not be limited to, the following:\n(a) Applicant's name;\n(b) Applicant's address;\n(c) Date;\n(d) Program to be undertaken for producers;\n(e) Brief statement of how the program is to be implemented;\n(f) Referendum to be conducted on a statewide or areawide basis;\n(g) Proposed effective date of the program;\n(h) Geographic area, by counties, of producers to be affected by the program; and\n(i) Signature of the applicant.\n(2) The Commissioner shall publish the application through the medium of the public\npress in the state within ten (10) days of receipt of the application.","path":["KRS Chapter 247"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=11816","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:52:59Z","sha256":"00d7f928b7fadd804d1d2afaed922b58ec1d421e932c36adeae9660e0fb308a9","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-247.7902","next":"us-ky/krs-247.7906"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
