{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.858","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.858","heading":"Commissioner to determine date, hours, polling places for voting and","body":"details of assessment -- Limits.\nWith respect to any referendum conducted under the provisions of KRS 247.850 to\n247.865, the Commissioner of Agriculture shall, before calling and an nouncing the\nreferendum, fix, determine and publicly announce at least thirty (30) days before the date\ndetermined for the referendum, the date, hours and polling places for voting in the\nreferendum, the effective date of the assessment, if adopted, the am ount and basis of the\nassessment proposed to be collected, the means by which such assessment shall be\ncollected if authorized by the handlers, and the general purposes to which the amount so\ncollected shall be applied.
