{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.862","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.862","heading":"Notice as to deduction required -- Use of funds collected -- Records to be","body":"open for inspection.\nIn the event a majority of the eligible handlers in the referendum who vote therein shall\nvote in favor of the assessment, then the Commissioner shall noti fy forthwith, by\nregistered or certified mail, all handlers of eggs engaged in the business of purchasing or\nselling eggs in this state, that on and after the date specified in such letter, the specified\nassessment shall be in effect.  The assessment shall , on or before the fifteenth day of the\nmonth following the end of the month in which the handler purchased or sold eggs, be\nremitted to the duly certified association which conducted the  referendum.  Such funds,\nincluding donations from individuals, conc erns, corporations and grants from state or\ngovernmental agencies, shall be used for the purpose of promoting and stimulating by\nadvertising, research and other methods the increased production, use and sale, domestic\nand foreign, of eggs.
