{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-247.9471","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 247.9471","heading":"Purchase and sale of agricultural loans by corporation.","body":"(1) The corporation may purchase or contract to purchase and sell or contract to sell\nagricultural loans made by lending institutions. All lending institutions are hereby\nauthorized to purchase and sell agricultural loans to the corporation in accordance\nwith the provisions of KRS 247.940 to 247.978 and the rules and administrative\nregulations of the corporation.\n(2) The corporation may make, or contract to make, loans to and deposits with lending\ninstitutions. All lending institutions are hereby authorized to borrow funds and\naccept deposits from the corporation in accordance with the provisions of KRS\n247.940 to 247.978 and the rules and administrative regulations of the corporation.\nThe corporation shall require that all proceeds of its loans to or deposits w ith\nlending institutions, or an equivalent amount, shall be used by the lending\ninstitutions to make agricultural loans, subject to the terms and conditions as the\ncorporation may prescribe.\n(3) To the extent that any provisions of this section may be inco nsistent with any\nprovision of law governing lending institutions, the provisions of this section shall\ncontrol.","path":["KRS Chapter 247"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=11859","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:00Z","sha256":"c54a5dcb42d3225434464f9ee3c32760f97bbee0f07212a4dd7f3e22034fc4cf","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-247.946","next":"us-ky/krs-247.9473"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
