{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-250.111","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 250.111","heading":"Actions for violations of KRS 250.021 to 250.111 -- Informal hearing --","body":"Injunctions.\n(1) If the director has probable cause to believe that any of the provisions of KRS\n250.021 to 250.111 have been violated, he shall give notice to the person who is i n\napparent violation designating a time and place for an informal hearing. If, after the\ninformal hearing, or without the hearing if the person fails to appear, the director\ndetermines that a violation has occurred, he may issue a letter of reprimand, levy  a\nfine pursuant to KRS 250.990, or impose any other penalties or sanctions authorized\nunder KRS 250.021 to 250.111.  Any penalty or sanction imposed as a result of an\ninformal hearing may be appealed, and upon appeal an administrative hearing shall\nbe conducted in accordance with KRS Chapter 13B.\n(2) The director may petition a court of competent jurisdiction for a temporary or\npermanent injunction restraining any person from violating or continuing to violate\nany provision of KRS 250.021 to 250.111 or any  administrative regulation\npromulgated thereunder, notwithstanding the existence of other remedies of law.\nThe injunction shall be issued without bond.","path":["KRS Chapter 250"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=12095","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:03Z","sha256":"c850df06fd39ed1099420cf767b35c5ff6227a77c93adefed8290983b92d56a8","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-250.110","next":"us-ky/krs-250.120"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
