{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-252.185","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 252.185","heading":"Kentucky beekeeping fund.","body":"(1) The Kentucky beekeeping fund is hereby established in the State Treasury as a\nseparate trust and agency account to be administered by the Department of\nAgriculture.\n(2) Moneys in this fund shall be used to help improve, promote, protect, and support\nthe beekeeping industry in Kentucky, particularly relative to small beekeepers.\n(3) Notwithstanding KRS 45.229, any moneys remaining in the fund at the close of the\nfiscal year, including interest, shall not lapse but shall be carried forward into the\nsucceeding fiscal year to be used for purposes set forth in this section.\n(4) The fund may receive gifts, grants, federal funds, and any other funds both public\nand private.\n(5) The Department of Agriculture shall cooperate with Kentucky State University's\napiculture extension program to advance the goals set out in subsection (2) of this\nsection.","path":["KRS Chapter 252"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=12297","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:05Z","sha256":"0867dfcd09ff2a35eb3d59559ce432c4c5d2ededd23cbd055dba7d6998ba4bab","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-252.180","next":"us-ky/krs-252.190"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
