{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-260.038","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 260.038","heading":"Organic certification fund.","body":"(1) There is hereby established in the State Treasury a separate trust and agency account\nto be known as the \"organic certification fund\" to be administered by the\nDepartment of Agriculture for the purposes provided in this section. Any moneys\naccruing to this fund in any fiscal year shall not lapse but shall be carried forward to\nthe next fiscal year.\n(2) (a) Any moneys deposited in the fund shall be used to provide for a portion of the\noperating costs of the Organic Agricultural Product Certification Program\nrequired under KRS 260.030;\n(b) Any moneys received from the collection of certification fees from the\nOrganic Agricultural Product Certification Program shall be deposited in the\nfund; and\n(c) The fund may receive state appropriations, gifts, grants, and federal funds.","path":["KRS Chapter 260"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=12541","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:08Z","sha256":"d44904bd509f2e91d76b77a823ae38ebb7ff25a7ceacbd79806f04c9a21cad8b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-260.037","next":"us-ky/krs-260.040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
