{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-260.785","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 260.785","heading":"Prohibited sampling and weighing practices.","body":"It shall be unlawful for any milk sampler-weigher to:\n(1) Sample, weigh, or measure milk from bulk milk tanks without obtaining a license to\nsample and weigh;\n(2) Inaccurately sample, weigh, or measure milk;\n(3) Fail to comply with administrative regulatio ns promulgated by the director for the\nproper sampling, weighing, or measuring of milk and handling, storage, and\ntransportation of permitted producers' milk samples;\n(4) Employ, engage, or obtain the services of a person who does not have a sampler -\nweigher license to sample and weigh milk;\n(5) Manipulate or falsify any producer weights, records, or samples for testing;\n(6) Fail to notify the director in writing of any knowledge of inaccurately calibrated\nbulk milk tanks; or\n(7) Hinder or obstruct any autho rized person in the performance of his or her duties\nunder KRS 260.775 to 260.845.","path":["KRS Chapter 260"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=12637","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:09Z","sha256":"0cb3fcad6f03a851cf14de8374d038333ce40ee090fb9ae9dcedcbccd504f1ef","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-260.783","next":"us-ky/krs-260.790"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
