{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-260.866","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 260.866","heading":"Hemp program fund.","body":"(1) The hemp program fund is hereby created as a separate trust fund in the State\nTreasury. The fund shall consist of amounts received from appropriations, and any\nother proceeds from gifts, grants, federal funds, application fees, or license fees\nprovided by KRS 260.862, civil penalties as provided by KRS 260.864, and any\nother funds, both public and private, made available for purposes of KRS 260.850\nto 260.869.\n(2) The hemp program fund shall be administered by the department.\n(3) Amounts deposited in the he mp program fund shall be used for the costs of\npersonnel, program administration, testing, actual travel expenses of the advisory\nboard established under KRS 260.860, and any other costs incurred while\nconducting the hemp programs under KRS 260.850 to 260.869.\n(4) Notwithstanding KRS 45.229, the hemp program fund amounts not expended at the\nclose of a fiscal year shall not lapse but shall be carried forward into the next fiscal\nyear.\n(5) Any interest earnings of the hemp program fund shall become part of th e fund and\nshall not lapse.\n(6) Moneys in the fund are hereby appropriated for the purposes set forth in this section\nand shall not be appropriated or transferred by the General Assembly for any other\npurposes.","path":["KRS Chapter 260"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=49792","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:10Z","sha256":"4c9d93ef46a154a5e3c2c3bc21c2ccd381cfb8ca5b87afcaa66d47df2c79b828","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-260.865","next":"us-ky/krs-260.867"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
