{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-260.960","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 260.960","heading":"Aquaculture.","body":"(1) The General Assembly recognizes the importance of aquaculture to the agricultural\neconomy of the state.\n(2) \"Aquaculture\" means the science, art, and business of producing and raising aquatic\norganisms under controlled or semicontrolled conditions.\n(3) The State Department of Agriculture shall promote the development of markets for\naquacultural products. The department shall work cooperatively with Kentucky\nState University's aquaculture program utilizing its expertise in the area of\naquaculture.
