{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-260.992","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 260.992","heading":"Penalties.","body":"(1) Any person who violates any provision of KRS 260.785, 260.790, 260.800,\n260.805, or 260.809 shall be fined one hundred dollars ($100) for the first violation\nand not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five hundred dollars\n($500) for each subsequent violation.\n(2) Any person who violates any provision of KRS 260.777, 260.780, 260.783,\n260.793, 260.795, 260.797, 260.807, 260.820, or 260.821(2)(c) shall be fined not\nmore than five hundred dollars ($500), nor more than seven hundred fifty dollar s\n($750) for each subsequent violation.\n(3) Any person who violates any provision of KRS 260.815 shall be assessed a penalty\nfee of a minimum of fifteen dollars ($15) or ten percent (10%) of the amount due,\nwhichever is greater, when payment is made.\n(4) Any person who violates any provision of KRS 260.821(3) shall be assessed a\npenalty fee of a minimum of twenty -five dollars ($25) or ten percent (10%) of the\namount due, whichever is greater, when payment is made.","path":["KRS Chapter 260"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=12672","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:10Z","sha256":"2a83c06201f182bc43c31fd3d7dd0c745cfa94b97442f3c6237ee532eb6cbd89","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-260.991","next":"us-ky/krs-260.993"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
