{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-262.725","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 262.725","heading":"Referendum -- Notice -- Polling officers.","body":"After the board of supervisors has made and recorded a determination that there is need,\nin the interest of the public health, safety and welfare, for creation of the proposed\nwatershed conservancy district, it shall consider the question whether the opera tion of a\ndistrict within the proposed boundaries with the powers conferred upon such districts in\nKRS 262.745 is administratively practicable and feasible. To assist the board of\nsupervisors in this determination, the board shall, within a reasonable time  after entry of\nthe finding that there is need for the organization of the district and the determination of\nthe boundaries of the district, hold a referendum within the conservation district upon the\nproposition of the creation of the district to identify  boundaries and give notification of\nfunding options. Due notice of the referendum shall be given as provided in KRS\n262.010(4). Such notice shall state the date of holding the referendum, the hours of\nopening and closing the polls, and shall designate one or more places within the proposed\ndistrict as polling places.
