{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-266.110","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 266.110","heading":"Officers of board -- Election -- Term -- Duties -- Bond -- Compensation.","body":"The board of levee commissioners shall elect a president from its members for a term of\nfour (4) years, and may prescribe who shall preside in his absence. It may make all\nnecessary rules prescribing the duties of its presiding officer and its own government. The\nboard shall also elect a secretary and a treasurer, for a term of four (4) years, or one (1)\nperson to fill both offices. The secretary shall keep a record of the proceedings of all\nmeetings and perform such other duties as the board prescribes. Th e treasurer shall\nreceive and keep a distinct account of all money belonging to the board, make payments\nupon the orders of the board, and perform such other similar duties as the board may\nprescribe. The treasurer shall, before he begins his duties, execute bond to be approved by\nthe board.
