{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-267.210","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 267.210","heading":"Viewers' final report -- Notice -- Hearing.","body":"When the final report of the viewers is completed and filed, it shall be examined by the\ncounty judge/executive, and if it is found to be legal and in due form it shall be accepted,\nand if not it may be referred back to the viewers with instructions to sec ure further\ninformation, to be reported at a subsequent date fixed by the county judge/executive. The\nchief engineer shall examine the report, and may recommend any changes in the plan of\ndrainage for final adoption by the board. Such changes, when adopted , shall become a\npart of the plan. When the report is completed and accepted by the county\njudge/executive, with any changes in the plan adopted by the board, a date not less than\ntwenty (20) days thereafter shall be fixed by the county judge/executive for  the final\nhearing upon the report, and notice shall be given by publication pursuant to KRS\nChapter 424, and by posting a notice on the door of the courthouse in each county in\nwhich land affected is assessed, and at five (5) conspicuous places throughout the district.\nDuring this time a copy of the report shall be on file in the office of the county clerk in\nwhich the proceeding is pending, and shall be open to the inspection of any landowner or\nperson interested within the district.","path":["KRS Chapter 267"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=12885","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:12Z","sha256":"a2a2a6321261bbe008ad4046cb61774d73bdadc2bc0e123a6fd8690620df8d65","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-267.200","next":"us-ky/krs-267.220"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
