{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-267.990","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 267.990","heading":"Penalties.","body":"(1) Any railroad company that fails to remove obstructions and allow construction on\nits right-of-way as required by KRS 267.270 shall be subject to a penalty of fifty\ndollars ($50) per day for each day of delay, to be collected by the board for the\nbenefit of the district in any court having jurisdiction.\n(2) Any landowner who fails to remove any obstruction or make any repairs as required\nby subsection (2) of KRS 267.470, within thirty (30) days after being notified by the\nsuperintendent of drainage, shall be  fined not less than ten ($10) nor more than one\nhundred dollars ($100).\n(3) Any person who violates any of the provisions of KRS 267.480 shall be fined not\nless than ten ($10) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100).","path":["KRS Chapter 267"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=12923","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:13Z","sha256":"c525cb9c508caad1f42692fbb3a02512bd9e218258754bd76b2f165bc08daf53","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-267.570","next":"us-ky/krs-268.010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
