{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-26a.164","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 26A.164","heading":"Court facility use allowance contingency fund -- Purpose -- Conditional","body":"use -- Legislative oversight.\n(1) There is created a court facility use allowance contingency fund. The fund shall\nconsist of money appropriated to it in the judicial branch budge t by the General\nAssembly. Money in the fund shall not lapse but shall be carried forward to the next\nfiscal year or biennium.\n(2) The Court of Justice may agree to increase the budgeted scope of a court project or\nproject pool authorized in a judicial bra nch budget bill enacted by the General\nAssembly, and may use the use allowance contingency fund to cover any resulting\nincrease in the budgeted annual use allowance, if and only if:\n(a) The appropriate unit of government first submits a proposal for the increase to\nthe Court Facilities Standards Committee, and the Court Facilities Standards\nCommittee approves the increase;\n(b) The annual use allowance for the project or project pool, adjusted for the\nproposed increase in scope, would not exceed the annual u se allowance\nspecified for that project or project pool in the multiyear use allowance\nschedule set out in the judicial branch budget bill by more than fifteen percent\n(15%); and\n(c) The requirements of KRS 26A.166 have been met.","path":["KRS Chapter 26A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=39782","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:46Z","sha256":"d9bec166e88decca8cdf7c19c2365a4e2eeb701179e956117badc7b9900ccfb7","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-26a.162","next":"us-ky/krs-26a.166"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
