{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-271b.12-230","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 271B.12-230","heading":"KRS 271B.12 -200 to 271B.12 -220 prevail over other provisions of","body":"KRS Chapter 271B -- Severability of provisions.\n(1) The provisions of KRS 271B.12 -200 to 271B.12 -220 are in addition to and do not\nrepeal any other provisions of KRS Chapter 271B that  govern any corporate actions\ndescribed in KRS 271B.12 -200 to 271B.12 -220; provided, that in the event of a\ndirect conflict between any provision of KRS 271B.12-200 to 271B.12-220 and any\nother provision of KRS Chapter 271B, the provision of KRS 271B.12 -200 to\n271B.12-220 shall prevail.\n(2) It shall be considered that, for the purposes of KRS 446.090, it is the intent of the\ngeneral assembly in enacting KRS 271B.12 -200 to 271B.12 -220 that any clause,\nsentence, subparagraph, paragraph, subsection, section, o r other part of the above -\nstated sections or the application thereof to any person or circumstances held to be\ninvalid shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder of the stated sections or\nthe application of that part held invalid to any other per son or circumstances, but\nshall be confined in its operation to the clause, sentence, subparagraph, paragraph,\nsubsection, section, or other part thereof directly involved in that holding or to the\nperson or circumstances therein involved.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=13432","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:19Z","sha256":"9e34ec105832c79466d61cd4a46f45ed0db44760227b0c1435886a6247143f32","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-271b.12-220","next":"us-ky/krs-271b.13-010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
