{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-271b.13-030","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 271B.13-030","heading":"Dissent by nominees and beneficial owners.","body":"(1) A record shareholder may assert dissenters' rights as to fewer than all the shares\nregistered in his name only if he shall dissent with respect to all shares beneficially\nowned by any one (1) person and notify the corporation in writing of the name and\naddress of each person on whose behalf he asserts dissenters' rights. The rights of a\npartial dissenter under this subsection shall be determined as if the shares as to\nwhich he dissents and his other shares were registered in the names of different\nshareholders.\n(2) A beneficial shareholder may assert dissenters' rights as to shares held on his behalf\nonly if:\n(a) He submits to the corporation the record shareholder's written consent to the\ndissent not later than the time the beneficial shareholder asserts di ssenters'\nrights; and\n(b) He does so with respect to all shares of which he is the beneficial shareholder\nor over which he has power to direct the vote.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=13435","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:19Z","sha256":"33fa3dc011e7496c44ded02558fbd9a514376bcc5b9ded1f5ab90d2ee99d3775","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-271b.13-020","next":"us-ky/krs-271b.13-200"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
