{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-271b.18-070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 271B.18-070","heading":"Additional penalties for violation of KRS 506.010, 506.030, 506.040,","body":"521.020, or 521.050.\n(1) If a domestic corporation is convicted of a violation of KRS 506.010, 506.030,\n506.040, 521.020, or 521.050, or if an officer, employee, or agent of the corporation\nis convicted of violating any section specified above under circumstances which\nbring corporate liability under KRS 502.050(1)(b), the court shall order that the\ncharter of the corporation be suspended for a period of not more than five (5) yea rs\nfor a first offense, ten (10) years for a second offense, and permanently for a third or\nsubsequent offense.\n(2) If a foreign corporation is convicted of a violation of any section specified in\nsubsection (1) of this section, or if an officer, employee,  or agent of the corporation\nis convicted of violating any section specified in subsection (1) of this section under\ncircumstances which bring corporate liability under KRS 502.050(1)(b), the court\nshall order that the corporation not be permitted to do bu siness in Kentucky for the\nappropriate period specified in subsection (1) of this section.\n(3) The penalties specified in this section shall be in addition to any other penalty\nspecified by law for the commission of the offenses listed in subsection (1) of  this\nsection.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=13496","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:20Z","sha256":"a21aead67511c5d76b39f7032f06bb6154d446119f7c8401091fc05fda974428","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-271b.18-060","next":"us-ky/krs-271b.2-010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
