{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-272.191","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 272.191","heading":"Who may become members.","body":"(1) Under terms and conditions prescribed in its bylaws, an association may admit as\nmembers (or issue voting stock to) only persons engaged in the production of\nagricultural products, including tenants and landlords who receive any part of the\ncrop raised on the leased premises or one or more associations of such producers.\nAn association or foreign association may be the sole member or holder of all the\nvoting stock of an association or of a foreign association.\n(2) If any member of an association organized or brought hereunder be other than a\nnatural person, such member may be represented by an individual, delegate,\nassociate, officer, or member thereof, duly authorized in writing.\n(3) Associations organized hereunder may become members of other associations.","path":["KRS Chapter 272"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=13527","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:21Z","sha256":"898b3dbeeaf091f5902375bef0edca4fd1227359945dab6fab85b34e7cfa6ec7","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-272.190","next":"us-ky/krs-272.200"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
