{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-272.301","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 272.301","heading":"Merger of associations.","body":"(1) Two (2) or more associations, either with or without capital stock, may merge into\nany one of such associations pursuant to a plan of merger as provided in this\nsection.\n(2) The board of each association shall, by resolution duly adopted, approve a plan o f\nmerger setting forth:\n(a) The names of the associations proposing to merge, and the name of the\nassociation into which they propose to merge (hereinafter referred to as the\nsurviving association).\n(b) The name which the surviving association is to have , which name may be that\nof any of the associations involved in the merger.\n(c) The terms and conditions of the proposed merger.\n(d) A statement of any changes in the articles of incorporation of the surviving\nassociation to be effected by such merger.\n(e) Such other provisions, not inconsistent with law as are deemed necessary or\ndesirable.","path":["KRS Chapter 272"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=13553","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:21Z","sha256":"7938251f805378267ec35cc94e41cae3d0d8e3a96ab1d59d71cc8aa2201c75ea","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-272.300","next":"us-ky/krs-272.305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
