{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-272.305","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 272.305","heading":"Consolidation of associations.","body":"(1) Two (2) or more associations, either with or without capital stock, may consolidate\ninto a new association pursuant to a plan of consolidation as provided in this\nsection.\n(2) The board of each association shall, by resolution duly adopted, approve a plan of\nconsolidation setting forth:\n(a) The names of the associations proposing to consolidate, and the name of the\nnew association into which they propose to consolidate (hereinafter referred to\nas the new association). The name of the new association may be that of any\nof the associations involved in the consolidation;\n(b) The terms and conditions of the proposed consolidation;\n(c) With respect to the new association, all of the appropriate statements required\nto be set forth in articles of incorporation and bylaws of associations\norganized under KRS 272.101 to 272.341; and\n(d) Such other provisions, not inconsistent with law, as are deemed necessary or\ndesirable.","path":["KRS Chapter 272"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=13554","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:21Z","sha256":"73e9a4a38117f1e42db69215d62a910d3ab5fde5c6317c47e1c98a08d945788f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-272.301","next":"us-ky/krs-272.310"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
