{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-272.390","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 272.390","heading":"Articles of incorporation -- What to set forth.","body":"Each association formed under KRS 272.360 to 272.510 must prepare and file articles of\nincorporation, setting forth:\n(1) The name of the association that satisfies KRS 14A.3-010;\n(2) The place where its principal business will be transacted;\n(3) The term for which it is to exist; the number of directors thereof which must not be\nless than five (5) and may be any number in excess thereof; the term of office of\nsuch directors; and the names and addresses of those who are to serve as\nincorporating directors for the first term, or until election and qualification of their\nsuccessors; and\n(4) The property rights of the members and whether the interest of each member will be\nequal or unequal; and if unequal, the rule or rules applicable to all members by\nwhich the  property rights and interests, respectively, of each member shall be\ndetermined and fixed; and provision for the admission of new members who shall\nbe entitled to share in the property of the association with the old members, in\naccordance with such general rule or rules.","path":["KRS Chapter 272"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=36664","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:21Z","sha256":"213d986efcee262cee79ae33dc24c56683f171aa62a44e41da421ed870be6202","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-272.380","next":"us-ky/krs-272.400"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
