{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-272.991","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 272.991","heading":"Additional penalties for violation of KRS 506.010, 506.030, 506.040,","body":"521.020, or 521.050.\n(1) If a domestic cooperative corporation or association is convicted of a violation of\nKRS 506.010, 506.030, 506.040, 521.020, or 521.050, or if an officer, emp loyee, or\nagent of the corporation or association is convicted of violating any section\nspecified above under circumstances which bring corporate liability under KRS\n502.050(1)(b), the court shall order that the charter of the corporation or association\nbe suspended for a period of not more than five (5) years for a first offense, ten (10)\nyears for a second offense, and permanently for a third or subsequent offense.\n(2) If a foreign cooperative corporation or association is convicted of violating any\nsection specified in subsection (1) of this section, or if an officer, employee, or\nagent of the corporation or association violates any of those sections under\ncircumstances which bring corporate liability under KRS 502.050(1)(b), the court\nshall order that th e corporation or association not be permitted to do business in\nKentucky for the appropriate period specified in subsection (1) of this section.\n(3) The penalties specified in this section shall be in addition to any other penalty\nspecified by law for the commission of the offenses listed in subsection (1) of this\nsection.","path":["KRS Chapter 272"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=13586","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:21Z","sha256":"78c52f51f08e875ec055093c34d48857c7b145f0404ce61d8fadf02f0ba93077","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-272.990","next":"us-ky/krs-272a.1-010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
