{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-272a.10-020","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 272A.10-020","heading":"Contribution and valuation.","body":"(1) Unless the organic rules otherwise provide, the contributions of a member to a\nlimited cooperative association may consist of tangible or intangible property or\nother benefit to the association, including money, labor, or other services performed\nor to be performed, promissory notes, other agreements to contribute money or\nproperty, and contracts to be performed.\n(2) The receipt and acceptance of contributions and the valuation of contributions shall\nbe reflected in a limited cooperative association's records.\n(3) Unless the organic rules otherwise provide, the board of directors shall determine\nthe value of a member's contributions received or to be received, and the\ndetermination by the board of directors of valuation is conclusive for purposes of\ndetermining whether the member's contribution obligation has been met.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=41054","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:22Z","sha256":"9c42a240c8e7ef739353ac798bea096a5ac3deb0624ca6cadb2b4922c534bb07","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-272a.10-010","next":"us-ky/krs-272a.10-030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
